A new IG Live brought us a new Explorer Alumni, Andrés Gutiérrez, who transmitted his motivation and practical advice to all thinking of embarking on a fascinating adventure. What are his five key tips for entrepreneurship?
Andrés Gutiérrez, from the University of Talca (Chile), not only went through the programme with his GoHydrant project, but his idea led him to the Explorer Trip. Now, as a Pro Connector, he motivates and advises the participants in the current edition (do you want to be in the next one?.
Knowing that his advice can be important for anyone who wants to start an exciting venture, he shared his key tips for entrepreneurship in the IG Live below. The five highlights are here:
Organisation and rest. "An entrepreneur is always creating, seeing possibilities, connecting with communities. So to manage our time, we must prioritise what we think is important. And resting is important, even if we sometimes forget about it".
Motivation. "There are many doubts about whether your project is good or not. Explorer plays the role of motivating and encouraging you to keep trying. It will also help you see if you are wrong and give you the tools to change".
Disconnection. "I really enjoy conversation, hanging around with friends or other entrepreneurs to learn from them. Sport also helps me to release stress. Essentially, it's about opening your mind a little bit, resting, and recovering".
What entrepreneurship brings. "Entrepreneurship lets me know that I am changing many people's lives, even the planet: with GoHydrant, we can reduce 84% of the lost water”.
Will it be okay? “When what you generate impacts other people and they appreciate what you are doing, you know you are on the right track. No metric tells you, but seeing a positive impact is a good way to measure the success of your idea".
