Chain of Love (Universidad Anáhuac México Sur, Mexico), one of the initiatives selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has launched its crowdfunding campaign with a clear goal: to offer free English classes and donate school supplies to children in vulnerable situations.
The organisation was created in response to the growing educational and professional demand for English and the low quality of its teaching within the Mexican education system. In a country where many jobs and academic opportunities are given to foreigners due to the language barrier, Chain of Love seeks to give new generations the chance to compete on equal terms. 🎥 https://vimeo.com/1111875602?share=copy
“More than half of job interviews in Mexico require a level of English that our education system is not preparing us for. Private English lessons remain a privilege; we shouldn’t lose access to jobs and scholarships simply because we don’t speak a language that isn’t ours,” says Alejandro Vilchis, who founded the organisation at the age of 16 and now leads it.

The aim of this crowdfunding campaign is to raise funds to sustain the free English classes, train more teachers and volunteers, and expand the impact of school supply donations in the communities that need them most. With your support, Chain of Love can provide new opportunities to hundreds of children across Mexico.
