GART launches its crowdfunding campaign to support emerging artists to gain visibility

GART (Mexico, Universidad Panamericana), one of the 20 ideas selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has launched its crowdfunding campaign.

What does this project, linked to the SDG 2030, consist of? It aims to help emerging artists to gain visibility and increase their income so that they can make a living doing what they love. The idea connects artists with businesses such as restaurants, Airbnb, hotels, etc. through a platform: the businesses will be able to obtain paintings or works of art free of charge. In return, they will function as an art gallery: the paintings shown will be for sale.

“My main motivation is to help my sister to gain visibility and grow as an artist, so that she can make a living doing what she loves most, painting”, explains Jorge Corvera, a member of the team.
