Primar-IA launches crowdfunding campaign to bring fair prices to Spanish agriculture

Primar-IA (Spain, ESIC University), one of the ideas selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has just launched its crowdfunding campaign.

What is this project about? Primar-IA is the first digital marketplace that connects small and medium-sized agricultural producers with wholesalers and distribution chains in real time. Farmers upload their harvest data, the platform cross-checks this information with buyers’ published prices, and within seconds shows them the most profitable option. With a single click, the system generates the offer, traceability, and logistics — eliminating phone calls, spreadsheets, and opaque negotiations. In this way, producers gain higher incomes while companies purchase with full transparency and efficiency.

“We come from farming families and know how frustrating it is to sell without the certainty of being paid fairly. With Primar-IA, we want to give farmers data, agility, and dignity,” explains Efrén Bravo, co-founder of the project.

The campaign seeks to gather support to finalise the minimum viable product, expand the technological infrastructure, and launch the platform in early 2026 with the first 50 producers and 10 pioneering cooperatives.
