Rome Consultora launches its crowdfunding campaign to raise awareness about age discrimination in the workplace and promote mental health in ageing

Rome Consultora (Argentina, CEDEX – Universidad de Palermo), one of the ideas selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has launched its crowdfunding campaign.

What is this project, aligned with the 2030 SDGs, about? Its goal is to reduce workplace inequalities, prevent the deterioration of mental health caused by ageism, and promote the social inclusion of people regardless of their age.

Rome Consultora supports companies committed to innovating in their diversity and inclusion policies, individuals with valuable experience who face barriers due to their age when demonstrating their worth, and civil society institutions that wish to develop awareness and training campaigns on this issue (such as universities, schools, and municipalities).

“Longevity is becoming an increasingly prominent issue, and one of the key pillars to prevent the decline of our health is the eradication of ageism as a form of discrimination. Starting in the workplace and making the necessary adaptations for different generations ensures a better quality of life in the long term,” explains team member Romina Méndez.
