TOUCHMATHICS launches its crowdfunding campaign

TOUCHMATHICS (Peru, Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya), one of the 20 ideas selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has launched its crowdfunding campaign. Its goal is to secure funding and bring on board collaborators to drive the growth of the project.

What is this idea, linked to the 2030 SDGs, all about? TOUCHMATHICS is an educational and inclusive initiative that aims to break down barriers in learning mathematics for students with visual impairments. Through multisensory teaching kits in braille and with adapted textures, TOUCHMATHICS seeks to foster meaningful, accessible and enjoyable learning.

The project is directly aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), by promoting access to adapted and enriching education for people with different levels of visual ability, and with SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by offering resources that strengthen the right to education on equal terms – expanding learning opportunities far beyond basic operations.
