No fewer than 32 out of the 54 projects supported by Santander X Explorer in launching their crowdfunding campaigns are already in the middle of fundraising (you can see the previous ones here and here). What do they want? To take one more step forward so these world-improving ideas can keep moving ahead. When do they want it? They have 30 days to reach their goals.

The projects range from improving the quality of education by encouraging students to forget about their smartphones during class, to restaurants specifically designed for children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). But there are many more, all of them offering solutions to problems they’ve identified in their closer environment. Now’s the time to take the next step: have a look at these ideas — one of them might resonate with you. If so, every contribution counts.

  • 🍝 Essência (Brazil, Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie) – A restaurant designed for autistic children and their families, offering a** fully comfort-oriented environment.** The food will also be tailored for this audience, allowing customers to assemble their dishes as they wish.

  • 👩‍🚒 Firehawk (Portugal, ISLA – Instituto Politécnico de Gestão e Tecnologia) – A technological solution developed to improve the detection and control of forest fires, using advanced artificial intelligence and data integration methods.

  • 💡 fIRlight (Spain, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) – A wooden lamp with an origami-inspired design for both outdoor and indoor use. For every fIRlight Luma purchased, one fIRlight Spark is donated to people without access to electricity.

  • 🧘‍♀️ IntegralmenteBien (Peru, Universidad de Piura) – A digital space that initially supports** women caregivers and professionals** on their journey towards holistic wellbeing.

  • 👨‍💻 **OLA (Spain) – A tool that **connects SMEs, organisations and emerging projects with content creators for brands.

  • 📵 OnFocus (Spain, Universidad de Salamanca) – An app designed to** promote concentration in the classroom** by reducing smartphone distractions. Students earn points based on the time spent without using their phones during lessons, which can later be redeemed for university benefits such as café discounts or courses.

  • 👩‍⚕️ Videízalo (Mexico, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) – A complementary learning tool for health sciences students: an AI model converts written text into videos, automatically creating visual content on medical topics to improve understanding.

  • 🍻 Wabaco (Brazil, Instituto Federal de São Paulo) – An app for** bars and restaurants** that allows** customers** to track their orders in real time and pay directly via mobile, while waiters use a** simple and efficient interface.**

  • 🐕 Woomy Pet Care (Colombia, Universidad del Norte) – An app offering essential pet care services (walks, online and in-person vet consultations, boarding, etc.) all within one ecosystem. A percentage of profits will go towards helping stray animals.

  • 🫶 YouthWise (United Kingdom, University of Glasgow) – A social project dedicated to empowering young people through** transformative workshops** focused on overcoming adverse childhood experiences, trauma or addiction.
